Why presenting the facts doesn’t always help win an argument
Common sense would indicate that the better educated a person is, the more likely they are to be open to revising their beliefs in the face of scientific evidence. But it turns out that for some people, exactly the opposite is true. Sometimes the most knowledgeable people are more biased and less persuadable than the ignorant.
