Keith Ellison testifies at the King hearings
In March, congressman Peter King held controversial hearings on “the threat of homegrown Islamic terrorism.” Keith Ellison, the first Muslim ever elected to congress, testified at the King hearings, breaking down as he told the story of Mohammad Salman Hamdani, a Pakistani-born American citizen and ambulance driver who died while attempting to rescue victims at the World Trade Center.
